Les Siècles in Chantilly
14 and 15 September 2024
For the second weekend of the festival, Les Coups de Cœur à Chantilly highlights orchestra Les Siècles and its musical director Jakob Lehmann, in a rich and majestic programme.
‘For this first weekend of our Autumn 2024 edition, I have the immense pleasure of welcoming one of today’s greatest French orchestras: Les Siècles. Together we will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Anton Bruckner and paying tribute to Gabriel Fauré on the 100th anniversary of his death. This orchestra, which has a very special bond with our region, also has a very strong link with our festival, having performed at our first edition in May 2021. So it’s a real pleasure to welcome them back! It’s going to be a real celebration for all of us!’ – Iddo Bar Shaï, Artistic Director
